Recently, Erin Furlong answered her doorbell of her house. It was announced at that time that she was officially the Gulf Coast Honda Dealers' Lightning Fan of the Year. As the grand prize winner of the Honda Fan Salute, Erin received a 2-year lease of a 2016 Accord LX compliments of the Gulf Coast Honda Dealers. She will be ditching her beat-up Sentra and couldn't be happier to be joining the Honda family!
Representatives from the Gulf Coast Honda Dealers arrived at Erin's house in traditional "Publishers Clearing House" fashion to deliver the good news that she had won a lease of a 2016 Honda Accord. In addition, also on hand for the festivities were members of the Tampa Bay Lightning Marketing team; 2 of the Lightning Girls; the Lightning mascot, Thunderbug; and Lightning Alumni and Captain of the Stanley Cup-winning Tampa Bay Lightning team, Dave Andreychuk.
In order to be eligible to win this incredible prize, Tampa Bay Lightning fans were asked to upload a short video to our Facebook page. In their video, the goal was to showcase why they were the Fan of the Month. Each Lightning Fan of the Month winners received four tickets to a Tampa Bay Lightning game. During the game, they were also given a VIP pre-game experience. At the end of the hockey season, the monthly winners had their videos posted online and were voted on by fans to choose the Lightning Fan of the Year. You can see the monthly winners here.
